Three narration voices Choose separate voices for normal text, headings, and italics. English (India) is preferred automatically when available.
Podcast-style listening Save your place, jump by chapter, move roughly 30 seconds backward or forward, and resume where you left off.
Cleaner PDF text Smart repair uses PDF text positions to avoid artificial spaces inside words and also normalizes common fi/fl ligatures.
Background listening: This version adds a silent media keep-alive track, lock-screen/media controls, automatic speech recovery, saved position, and screen wake lock where supported. A browser or operating system can still suspend Web Speech after deep tab suspension or device lock. For truly reliable screen-off playback, the text must be converted to real audio such as MP3 by a TTS service.
